Fort Worth, Texas — One man is hospitalized in critical condition following an early Tuesday morning (11/19/2013) car accident between a black pickup truck and a semi-trailer.
The accident happened in far northwest Fort Worth, in the westbound lanes of the Jacksboro Highway near Confederate Park Road. According to reports, the collision took place at around 3:30 a.m.
Fort Worth police say that the man was trapped in the wrecked vehicle for quite a while. He was eventually extracted and taken to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth by air ambulance (possibly CareFlite), where he is listed in critical condition.
While there is no official word on what caused the victim to collide with the rear of the 18-wheeler, an investigation is continuing.
